My journey...

My own life journey has been shaped by a deep curiosity about people, relationships, and what helps us thrive and grow, both in body and mind. I have a fundamental belief in the inner strength and capacity of each person to grow, change, and find their own way forward. I believe we all have greater potential than we sometimes recognise in ourselves, and that an important part of our development is building a safer, more compassionate, and loving relationship with ourselves.

I want to create a safe and judgement-free space where you can pause, tune inwards, and gain clarity about what matters to you. A space where you can explore yourself with curiosity and without judgement, deepen your understanding of your thoughts, emotions, and needs, and find pathways towards greater self-esteem, self-compassion, and balance.

I am a trained and certified counsellor in psychosynthesis, with an integrative approach that incorporates, among others, ACT, CBT, and schema therapy. I am also a certified coach and am currently further developing my coaching skills towards an international ICF certification.

I have a university degree as my academic foundation and have, later in life, continued my education in areas including the Science of Well-Being, Mindfulness, and Nonviolent Communication (NVC). I see learning as an ongoing process and continue to deepen my knowledge so that I can meet people with breadth, curiosity, and presence.

International Experience

I grew up in Sweden with a father from Northern Ireland and a Swedish-Danish mother. An international perspective and encounters between different cultures have therefore been a natural part of my life from an early age.

Over a ten-year period, I moved with my family and children between Sweden, China and USA. I know from personal experience that an international relocation can be both exciting and enriching, while also bringing significant challenges. Creating a sense of belonging, making relationships and family life work, and finding your place in a new environment can take time and bring up many different emotions. I have personal experience and an understanding that such a transition is not only about the practical aspects of moving or starting over, but also about how we are affected emotionally and how we can reconnect with ourselves in a new environment.

I have also worked with international issues throughout most of my professional life, in the public, non-profit, and private sectors. This has given me a broad understanding of international work environments and the opportunities and challenges that can arise when people and organisations meet across cultural boundaries.

I look forward to connecting with you!
